DESCRIPTION:When more than two people work together there is an opportunity for conflict. Different perceptions\, communication styles and emotions can all influence how we work together. Conflict is inevitable\, but escalation is optional. \n\n\n\nIn this 3-hour workshop we will discuss the following: \n\n\n\n\nEffective communication and listening- where our understanding of others begins\n\n\n\nBarriers to effective listening\n\n\n\nSkills to help communicate more effectively\n\n\n\nDeescalating behaviors- communication strategies for conflict resolution\n\n\n\n\nThis will be an interactive workshop learning about us and the impact we can have on the organization and others! Learning tools\, assessments\, and group discussions!
