The Center for Local Government Human Resources Taskforce is made up of HR professionals from a number of CLG member governments.  The mission of the HR Taskforce is to ease the burden on HR professionals by providing resources, training opportunities, and information about the latest developments in public sector human resources.  This is especially helpful in communities who do not have full time HR staff.


The HR Taskforce has created a resource center for CLG member communities, which is accessible from the CLG member log-in page.  The Taskforce also holds bi-annual HR Luncheons, which provide education on a variety of emerging HR topics.  Some topics of previous luncheons have included the Affordable Care Act, Multi-Generational Workplace, Medical Marijuana and HR policy, changes to OPERS, Performance Evaluation, Recruiting Top Talent, and a multitude of other topics.
